a quicky note, many have asked me over the few short years what it is i see, here's a quick and logical explanation of the disease i suffer:    (by the way it comes (in my case) from malignant hypertension  -  violently high blood pressure)

http://eyesight.org/Pictorials/Pic-Look_Like/pic-look_like.html

i see all 3 anomalies.

(yeh it blows)    -     if i find the works i did of what my vision looked like and how's it's changed i think i'll add them, depending how i feel about the pieces.   there was one year (late 2003)  where my vision was so bruised visually it was hard to do anything but i replicated a piece to show those all about it.

now back to our regularly scheduled program already in progress.

about the artist.  ( Llori Stein )  not much to say, mostly that is done through footnotes in the main index.   this site is a collection of a very small part of the entirety of all i've done.   if i put the entire collection up you may think i'm rather mediocre if not already.   it's hard to pick what may be considered my best 'stuff'  i'm not a good judge of my work.   what is up has been published and what has been considered palatable.  :D    (  of course it'll be some time before my index is at least half considerable with representations of what i've done to say the least  ) -

you can find my art online in such places as...   (not all is listed i mean are you kidding me?!    20 plus years of publications...   not only would it be inconsiderate waste of bandwidth  (not that i'm saying the places of publication aren't worth it.. they are..  very much so)  it's just i couldn't recall everything and the list would be awesome..  though it would be nice to jot them all down and see who's still kicking around and what's made it online.)

inkblots magazine - collage montage - summer 1999

pc presentations - some crappy tutorials i'm not happy with  (they're among others on this referenced page)  --  now the domain is up for grabs... shame it was a nice tutorial site.. oh well so much for creativity in the bush administration....

win site - i'm there someplace with my backgrounds and mars man deficiencies.   this crap goes way back to 1997.

doomworld - some of my lame doom levels and total conversions.   (best thing about them was the design, very tasking maps, one popular of a woman's face.   was very hard to finish with all those visplane overflows.  (may make them levels and more available someday on this site)

absolute arts - a portfolio.

rhizome - another portfolio, eh.

erowid - my self portrait - a galaxy of information on those who implement mind alterations.

art advocate  -  had some work there now the site is perpetually under constuction.  -  now it's something else???   that's the net for yah  (black labs?  ok,  that's nice...)

low fashion - my two pieces of....  -  and the complete...

digital art org - my thornvald digi painting

voices literary magazine  -  mouthwash   -  humm something went amiss here also...    i see the small press and related ethics online don't last too long do they???   (i'm guessing,  i see no zine i see craptastic links all over the place)  too bad... it was a nice zine.

anova books  -  me and my embarrassing problem - i was quoted also how wonderful.

more xmasy stuff:    www.uglychristmaslights.com  i was there for 2 years then suddenly my lights don't suck anus anymore?!  WHAT!  i worked so hard santy!  why?  why me all da time!  :D   oh well i guess in the year 2007 i'll try a bit harder to be tacky.. though i thought a 12'x9' square space (among other places in the apartment) packed with 12,000 lights was pretty TACKY!  oh curious?  http://balcony.mailbomb.com    there, have a xmas ball or two.. three

taproot reviews  -  of wormfeast - oh wow like now i'm in the big time...  of course that was centuries ago.  oh looky they did one on (edited for young viewers)  f-you too...  why?

www.disabledartistsnetwork.com    my crap here.. a very useful group of talent working not only with their own handicaps but working with one another as a creative accessory in the field.

unlikely stories,  very nice site, simple and it's good to be published alongside of the old small pressers again.   ha ha lifshin and townsend, grey thought they could get away from me eh?

another tiny write up about me.    events quarterly magazine.

f.m cotolo  -  listen to his radio show and read his blog too.

mary edna fraser  -  good buddy of mine and mr. b's.   www.maryedna.com

jon taylor -  poet whom submitted to worm a few times and has his own site and presence in the small press.   www.jtpoetry.com

misses also glen armstrong, he once had his dirty clergy but now i think he's a professor at some university (can't recall right off hand)  and sometimes rambles around with yet another band?   ???

john m. bennett is online with a fantastical site!

cheyrl townsend has been a small presser a while, online a while.  her photography is something i like.  it's simple, strong and not pompus!  which is refreshing considering there's um, so much, so-called great photography online.

lyn lifshin still pumps it out, she used to submit to me quite often.

Blank Gun Silencer:  another magazine i was published in.  dan nielsen,  wonder where he's gone off to?  probably wayward like mark m. ?   sub-sub underground?

home made ice cream press:   hey howington remember these days you loser!   now he operates a very white trashish,  off beat, very digital savy as in digi-cams galore imagery al'a honky'sville usa white wash home brew spun miller lite vs. vodka vomit art, essay, commentary and whatever else spews at the time.  (oh yes and i was published in home made ice cream press's endeavors too, the old days that is)  and did a collaboration effort chapbook style robert howington vs.  c.f. roberts in FUCK YOU!    which the review still lies online someplace remarking about how shitty my publications always were.    (what did they expect it was WoRMfEA$t!  land sakes alive!   :D   oh the howington site is anti-hero art,  sorry about that long winded dissertation.

scott holstad,  he did broadsides...  published mush of his stuff back in the 90s...

misc (well not really)

spamgirl an old acquaintance who is now partaking in a site reviewing and punctuating reality shows.  she and i once hung out online with a brainworm, whom remains disconnected at this time.      (tiberius?  you ever see this?  you ran TBS board from you website - a group of artists)

also remembers bob lennon of alternative press magazine, thought i seen him online for some band site but i'm not sure...

susan m. jessen (jesen?)  she had gothica magazine.   she sees this hey contact me.  her and steve teeter and the gang.

other's i miss?   c.f. roberts of shock box, where are ya dude?   dan nielsen of blank gun silencer zine...

what ever happened to white boy paul weinman, we did a chapbook or two together (naked?  lmfao!)  well we weren't wearing clothes on the cover that is for sure like a white trash version of john and yoko's virgins.   :D

i wonder if the old logger is still kicking around?   wendell metzger,  he resided in washington state.   wrote alot about hobos, trains, the life wandering and i think he was a logger one time.  he always wrote to me talking up his garden and enjoying his time writing and caring for his vegetables and that radish stew that he promised me.   :D     ( i think he's passed away now will get more info. about that )

where are ya?

well...  if i never meet up with them again i hope they're all doing well and are being prosperous and joyous!
